Hyundai Motor is today introducing the All-New Kona at the Los Angeles Motor Show. Los Angeles is the next stop for Hyundai’s new B-SUV on its worldwide release tour and its debut on the US market.
The sales start for the Kona in the US is planned for early 2018. With the All-New Kona entering the B-SUV segment Hyundai Motor is extending its US SUV family to four members including the Santa Fe, the Santa Fe Sport and the Tucson.
With sales already under way in Europe, the All-New Kona is a real SUV, equipped with four-wheel drive, 7 dual clutch transmission and the latest Hyundai powertrain technology. Modern turbocharged petrol engines enhance the driving dynamics of the Kona and boost the efficiency and driving pleasure of the latest addition to Hyundai’s car portfolio. Active safety features such as Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with pedestrian detection and Hyundai’s first head-up display, which projects relevant driving information in the driver’s line of sight, make the ride more comfortable in the city, on the highway and off-road.
Our All-New Kona continues Hyundai’s new design identity. It is a true SUV with a progressive character and premium safety and connectivity features. This successful combination will attract new, modern customers. That is why the All-New Kona is an important milestone for Hyundai Motor Europe on its way to becoming the leading Asian automotive brand in Europe by 2021 with the launch of 30 new models and derivatives.
