Hyundai Motor has claimed another important award: Auto Bild and independent consultancy Eurotax Schwacke have named the Hyundai IONIQ Electric 'Wertmeister 2017' in the class for electric vehicles.
This year Auto Bild and Eurotax Schwacke carried out their awards programme for vehicles with the most stable values for the 14th time. The Hyundai IONIQ Electric won in the class of electric cars, ahead of last year's winner, the BMW i3, as well as the Volkswagen e-Golf. The basis for the award is the projected residual value after four years and an annual mileage of 10,000 kilometers. The Hyundai IONIQ Electric did not only win for having the highest residual value in its class, namely 60.65 per cent - together with the IONIQ Hybrid, it is among the cars with the most stable values in Germany overall.
We are proud the Hyundai IONIQ Electric was named ”Wertmeister 2017” in Germany. The award reconfirms the confidence we have in the IONIQ, offering the best warranty, a great driving range and latest safety and connectivity features at a very competitive price – e-mobility without compromises. After the launch of the IONIQ Hybrid and Electric last year, the line-up will be completed by the IONIQ Plug-in arriving at European showrooms this summer.
The IONIQ‘s comprehensive 5-year unlimited mileage warranty is equally customer-friendly. This warranty applies to all vehicles acquired at authorised Hyundai dealers. For the high-voltage battery, Hyundai even provides an 8-year or 200,000 kilometre warranty.
