Hyundai Europe has donated several cars from its current range to two engineering schools in the Rhine-Main region in Germany and a fire investigation service for training and educational purposes.
The vehicles will help to train students as well as firefighters with regards to mechanics and operations.
Over the past five years Hyundai Motor Europe donated over 50 cars to schools and local organisations. This year the company donated vehicles to Rennerod fire investigation service, the Heinrich Kleyer School and the Hessen state Motor Vehicle Trade Technical School, both of which provide training for future mechanics. The vehicles will help the fire investigation service to train their staff to be optimally prepared for an emergency situation. The colleges will use the cars for mechanics training, especially with regard to connectivity issues.
Hyundai Motor truly takes care not only of its customers, but also, as a corporate citizen, of local organisations in surrounding communities. Supporting the fire services and technical schools is another way to secure the well-being of our customers.

David Martinez Head of HR & General Affairs at Hyundai Motor Europe

It is essential for fire investigators to train identifying fire causes by using modern equipment. Obtaining cars for that purpose is extremely difficult and expensive. Hyundai Motor’s donation will therefore help us to train and instruct our investigation team.

Dirk Ley Rennerod fire investigation service

Thanks to the partnership with Hyundai Motor Europe, we are able to constantly offer our students the hands-on training with cutting-edge technology, which is crucial for their qualification.

Friedel Nolde Principal of the Heinrich Kleyer School in Frankfurt am Main

Worldwide, Hyundai Motor is actively supporting local organisations in the communities where the company operates, to contribute to their social and economic development.
