Hyundai Motor presents an incredible line-up of convention-defying cars at the 2015 SEMA.

RPG turns Tucson into an extreme offroad machine

This Tucson is one of the highlights: with expertise from off-road specialists Rockstar Performance Garage (RPG), the Tucson is really wild. The SUV comes with massive 32-inch tires from Mickey Thompson and sits six inches over stock height. The adjustable shock system from King Shocks delivers true off-road ability. Hyundai's 1.6-litre engine is boosted by a new K&N intake and intercooler from Mishimoto.

Veloster Turbo comes with 500 hp

The Chicago-based tuner Blood Type Racing Inc. has turned the Veloster Turbo into a really evil racing car with 500 hp. To achieve this extreme power output, Hyundai's 1.6-liter four-cylinder has been modified: there’s a high-boost turbocharger from Garrett and custom connecting rods and pistons. The ECU is retuned to work in the optimum way with the new hardware. The vehicle's evil appearance is realized by using a "Carbon-Black" paint job, accented with red racing stripes and SSR three-piece wheels with custom red face. The "demon eye" headlamps add a final demonic touch to the exterior of the car.

Bisimoto creates the most powerful Tucson

The most powerful Tucson for 2015 SEMA comes from Bisimoto Engineering. They utilized the 2.4 liter Hyundai "Theta II" power plant to build up a racing Tucson with a breathtaking 700 hp. "The new Tucson provides the perfect platform for this year's build, offering me the opportunity to captivate a wider audience by tapping into the growing popularity of the CUV market," said Bisi Ezerioha, owner of Bisimoto Engineering. The exterior of the car has a clean "street fighter" look with air-ride suspension and white five-star wheels.

Tucson Adventuremobile with roof-top tent

John Pangilinan, a Southern California-based tuner is known for his lifestyle vehicles. Simply named "Adventuremobile", his vehicle for 2015 SEMA is based on the new Tucson and comes with a Treeline Tamarack roof-top tent. The exterior has been beefed up by an army green paint job and Rigid Industries LED lights. The addition of a bull bar and side steps provides the real "adventure look". "The build blends performance with the excitement of the great outdoors, without sacrificing daily usability," said John Pangilinan.
