Hyundai Italy becomes Official Car Partner of AS Roma Women

- Hyundai Italy has announced a multi-year partnership with AS Roma Women, becoming the Official Car Partner of the club.

The announcement comes seven months after Hyundai Motor Company became the Main Global Partner and Official Car Partner of the men’s team.

Driven by its passion for football and sports, with no limitations of gender nor age, Hyundai Italia has decided to support the newly-formed AS Roma Women to promote the positive values of sport and to challenge the concept of a male-dominated world.

The new partnership sees Hyundai Italy become the Official Car Partner of AS Roma Women until the 2020-21 season. With this new agreement, Hyundai Italy pledges to support women’s football and shows its commitment to sports and talent development.

As part of the partnership, the Hyundai logo will be featured on the back of the official jersey of the Women’s team and of the Women’s junior team. In addition, the Hyundai logo will also be visible on advertising boards at the Tre Fontane Stadium during all home games as well as at the club’s training ground and across its social media channels.

Alongside the prestigious partnership with AS Roma, Hyundai Italia wanted to support AS Roma Women and its fans as these girls live their exciting adventure. Women’s football and its fanbase is growing around the world, including in Italy, where it is receiving more and more visibility in the media. We believe it is very important to show our support and share the message that we believe in women in sports, but also in daily life.

AS Roma Women will debut the Hyundai logo on February 9th, during the Serie A match against CF Florentia at Tre Fontane Stadium.

The partnership with AS Roma Women adds to a growing portfolio of women’s football club engagements, following sponsorship announcements with Chelsea FC Women in the United Kingdom, Club Atlético de Madrid Femenino in Spain and Olympique Lyonnais Féminin in France.

Hyundai Motor has recently expanded its portfolio of club football sponsorships by announcing four-year deals with Chelsea FC of the English Premier League and AS Roma of Serie A and three-year deals with Club Atlético de Madrid of La Liga and Hertha BSC of the Bundesliga, which complemented its ongoing relationship as shirt sponsor of Olympique Lyonnais of Ligue 1.
