- Hyundai Motor commissioned award-winning photographer Esther Haase to capture the latest entry in its BEV-dedicated IONIQ line-up brand
- Haase took inspiration for the cyberpunk-themed shoot by the idea of the car as a part of yourself, found in works of science fiction
- A professional dancer portrayed IONIQ 6’s human-centric design and flow of its streamlined aesthetics
Commissioned by Hyundai Motor to capture the streamlined aesthetics and timeless, human-centric design of IONIQ 6, award-winning photographer Esther Haase saw the second model in the BEV-dedicated IONIQ line-up brand as a vision of the future. Inspired by the idea of the car as a part of yourself, found in works of science fiction, Haase chose to depict IONIQ 6 against the backdrop of a cyberpunk megacity.
Haase also enlisted a professional dancer during the shoot to represent IONIQ 6’s human-centric design and flow of its streamlined aesthetics. Excited by the power of movement and readiness to leap she found in the car’s aerodynamically sculpted silhouette, she described the dancer as representing “the extension of the streamline through the leaping human body”.
