Now in their ninth year, the Parkers New Car Awards, judged by the expert editorial team at Parkers, highlight the best new models on sale in the UK across a variety of categories. Hyundai’s largest EV to date, the IONIQ 9, impressed with its spacious and versatile interior, premium materials, and smooth, silent driving experience. The panel noted that the IONIQ 9 successfully balances family-focused practicality with high-end refinement, offering genuine comfort and ample storage without compromise.

Built on Hyundai’s advanced E-GMP 2.0 platform, the IONIQ 9 features a 118kWh battery delivering up to 370 miles (WLTP) of all-electric range. Ultra-fast 350kW charging capability enables rapid top-ups, while the powerful dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant produces up to 380 PS for effortless acceleration and control.

Inside, the IONIQ 9 offers a calm, open cabin with premium materials and configurable seating for up to seven passengers. A 14.6-inch panoramic infotainment display, over-the-air software updates, and Hyundai’s latest SmartSense safety suite ensures a connected and secure driving experience.
