Hyundai Motor UK has strengthened its partnership with Therfield School through an innovative project that challenges students to develop professional advertising campaigns for the groundbreaking IONIQ 5 N, giving them hands-on experience in automotive marketing and creative direction.
The community outreach project continues to support Hyundai's vision of Progress for Humanity by engaging future generations in the evolution of sustainable high-performance mobility. Building on previous years' success, Hyundai provided students with unprecedented access to the IONIQ 5 N, allowing them to explore its features and understand the engineering behind electric performance vehicles.
Working in agency-structured teams, students took on roles including Managing Director, Head of Marketing, and Creative Director to develop comprehensive advertising campaigns. The top three concepts were selected to produce their own video content, with the students presenting their final advertisements to key employees at Hyundai's headquarters. During their visit, students gained valuable insights into automotive marketing and the future of sustainable performance vehicles.
The collaboration with Hyundai continues to evolve, offering our students increasingly ambitious real-world challenges. This year's advertising project has given them invaluable experience in creative thinking, teamwork, and professional presentation skills. The hands-on experience with the IONIQ 5 N has sparked genuine excitement about the future of sustainable performance vehicles.
Innovation in sustainable performance is at the heart of the IONIQ 5 N, and it's inspiring to see how the next generation interprets and communicates these advances. This partnership with Therfield School demonstrates our commitment to nurturing young talent and sharing our vision for the future of mobility with our local community.
Hyundai also continues to demonstrate its commitment to education through The Great British School Trip programme. Now in its third year, the programme provides bursary funding to ensure every child can benefit from the invaluable experience of school trips, regardless of financial circumstances. To date, the programme has supported 146,882 schoolchildren, with a goal of reaching 160,000 by the end of this academic year.
Local initiatives like the Therfield school partnership complements the Great British School Trip programme in inspiring the next generation. More information can be found at: https://greatbritishschooltrip.com/
