Hyundai Motor UK reveals revised i20 trims, specification and pricing

Hyundai Motor UK has announced pricing and specification for the revised i20 range with the introduction of a new trim line up.
Heading up the new trims, Element offers a functional and value-focused appearance, while Black Line introduces sharper black styling and more convenient features. Tech Line is the new range-topping trim, combining key features from the previous Premium and Ultimate specifications.
The Element 1.0T 90PS 6 speed manual transmission, priced from £19,995, introduces the new entry point to the i20 range. Inside, the Element trim provides a practical cabin with a black dashboard and black upholstery, a 4.2-inch TFT LCD configurable driver display, leather steering wheel and gear knob, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with DAB radio, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ and a front USB-C charging Port. Element also includes manual air-conditioning, cruise control with speed limiter, rear parking sensors, rear-view camera with dynamic guidelines, Lane Keep Assist and Lane Follow Assist. Element is also available with the 1.0T 90PS 7 speed dual clutch transmission.
The Black Line 1.0T 90PS 6 speed manual transmission, priced from £22,945, builds on Element with enhanced styling and comfort. Key features, in addition to Element, include 16-inch black alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, LED headlights and taillights, black door mirrors, black belt line and black roof lining, privacy glass, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, and passenger seatback pockets. Black Line is also available with the 1.0T 90PS 7 speed dual clutch transmission.
Priced from £24,245, the Tech Line is the new range-topping trim and combines the key features from the outgoing Premium and Ultimate trims. In addition to Black Line equipment, Tech Line standardises 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic air-conditioning, wireless phone charging for compatible devices, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors with power-folding function, front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, interior ambient lighting, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, centre console armrest, rear USB charging port, windscreen auto-defog function, chrome belt line and keyless entry with engine start/stop button. Tech Line is also available with the 1.0T 90PS 7 speed dual clutch transmission.
Tech Line can be specified with the Tech Pack for an additional £1,000; this aligns Tech Line to the configuration of the outgoing Ultimate trim and includes a BOSE premium sound system (tweeter + external amplifier + centre (front)) and sunroof.
Interior upholstery options include black dashboard with black upholstery across all three trims. Tech Line additionally offers a black & grey dashboard with black upholstery, or black dashboard and upholstery with lucid lime detailing. Exterior colours are: Mangrove Green Pearl, Atlas White, Phantom Black Pearl, Aurora Grey Pearl, Lumen Grey Pearl, Dragon Red Pearl, Lucid Lime Metallic and Vibrant Blue Pearl.

Across the range, i20 is offered with a revised 1.0T 90PS T-GDi engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Torque is 172 Nm (17.5 lb-ft) at 1,500–3,000 rpm for both gearboxes. Performance figures are 0–62 mph in 11.5 seconds (6MT) and 12.8 seconds (7DCT). Top speeds are 112 mph (6MT) and 111 mph (7DCT).
Our new trim structure for the revised i20 range brings greater clarity and value to customers, with enhanced specification and a more dynamic design across the range. The introduction of Element as the new entry point and Tech Line as the range-topping option ensures the i20 continues to deliver the blend of quality, efficiency and technology customers expect from Hyundai.
