Hyundai has achieved a double win at the Carbuyer Best Car Awards 2023. The accolades were awarded to i20 N and TUCSON, winning ‘Best Hot Hatch’ and ‘Best Family Car’ respectively. These wins replicate last year’s success for both cars across both categories.
The i20 N has been a resounding success story for Hyundai’s N Brand, featuring a 204PS turbocharged petrol engine and a mechanical limited-slip differential. The Carbuyer team was impressed with its performance, delivering ultra-agile handling on road and track.
Hyundai's N department continues its meteoric rise with the fantastic i20 N. Practical enough to be used every day, but with bags of performance and engaging handling. If you're after a hot hatch brimming with personality, this little firecracker should be at the top of your shortlist.
Meanwhile, TUCSON yet again took home the ‘Best Family Car’. Judges were keen on its family-friendly features, economical powertrains as well as practiality. All of the above set TUCSON apart from its competitors.
For the second year in a row, the Hyundai Tucson is Carbuyer's favourite family car. Last year's overall Car of the Year still leads the pack when it comes to practicality, usability and family-friendly features. The fact it's available with such a strong range of hybrid powertrains is the icing on the cake.
Receiving two more accolades from Carbuyer is testament to the strength of our latest model range and its promise of good design, quality and innovative technology. It is fantastic to see i20 N and Tucson still leading the charge against our competitors nearly two years after launch and we are thrilled to dominate both categories once again this year.
