Through Hyundai Motor Europe’s partnership with Healthy Seas, the seas and beaches are being freed of waste. Healthy Seas’ founding partner Aquafil regenerates the nylon parts of the recovered fishing nets, along with other nylon waste, into ECONYL® yarn to create new sustainable products, such as the floor mats in IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6.

Hyundai is working on expanding EV charging infrastructure across Europe. With Charge myHyundai, customers can charge their EVs in 29 European countries. With electrified solutions like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X), BEVs can operate and charge external electronic devices, power a house, and feed electricity back into the grid.

Hyundai announced its partnership with Healthy Seas in 2021 as a way of fostering a more sustainable future. With Hyundai’s commitment to developing emission-free mobility solutions, and Healthy Seas’ expertise in protecting marine ecosystems, the two organisations hold a shared vision for shaping sustainable communities and making the world a better place for future generations.
