Hyundai Motor UK has claimed another award, this time being recognised by Fleet World at the Great British Fleet Awards.

The ‘Fleet Technology Award’ recognises UK brands that are continually innovating in the fleet sector.

The expert judging panel included the Fleet World editorial team plus a select group of fleet and motor industry experts. They noted the wide range of low-emissions products offered by Hyundai in the fleet sector which are available to fleet and personal buyers, and the innovation into next-generation powertrains such as the Hyundai NEXO fuel-cell vehicle.

Hyundai is future proofing its range, now offering hybrid, plug-in, electric and even Hydrogen fuel-cell powered models. Spearheading Hyundai’s hydrogen future, the NEXO fuel-cell is easy to drive and genuinely efficient, with a 414-mile range and zero emissions.

Hyundai offers the broadest line-up of electrified powertrains in the market, reinforcing the company’s leadership in the eco-car segment. Fleet customers can choose between Hyundai’s IONIQ family, which offers a hybrid, plug-in hybrid and zero-emissions electric version, the Kona Electric and Hybrid or the aforementioned NEXO fuel-cell. NEXO offers more than 400 miles of zero-emissions driving per tank of hydrogen, and the car’s lack of CO₂ emissions means places it in the 16% BIK bracket in 2020/21.

All of Hyundai’s electrified models benefit from Hyundai’s industry-leading five-year unlimited mileage warranty and roadside assistance package, while standard equipment includes the latest active safety features, such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Intelligent Speed Limit Warning.
