Hyundai Motor UK has revealed the results of its latest Annual Retailer Awards, celebrating the best performers across a number of key areas, and crowning an overall winner. Out of the extensive UK Retailer network, Marshall Motor Group took the Overall Retailer Group award for consistently high performances across all their Hyundai sites, with Marshall Hyundai Worcester the highest ranked Overall Retailer in the country.
Read Motor Group won the group customer excellence award, with Stockport Hyundai collecting the overall Retailer winner for customer excellence. Brooklyn Hyundai won Aftersales Retailer of the year, while Marshall Motor Group is also named Aftersales Retailer Group of the year. Ancaster Group win Sales Retailer Group, with Ancaster Hyundai Welling winning Sales Retailer.
Throughout 2022, each of Hyundai’s Retailers were evaluated using Hyundai Motor UK’s Balanced Scorecard comprised of five key areas: new car sales, aftersales performance, customer experience, Retailer profitability and future mobility.
2022 was a hugely successful year for Hyundai Motor UK, with 80,000 cars registered and enormous demand for our electrified model range including the full electric IONIQ 5. Our Retailer Network represents our brand to our customers and achieving record market share – as we did last year – simply wouldn’t have been possible without their valuable support and sustained dedication.

Marshall Hyundai Worcester showcased just what it takes to be the Best Retailer, finishing in the top five for Customer Experience, Aftersales and Future Mobility. Marshall Group also won the Best Overall Retailer Group as well as Best Aftersales Retailer Group which is a testament to its dedication to deliver a market-leading buying and ownership experience for our customers.
Hyundai Motor UK achieved its highest ever yearly market share in 2022, recording 80,419 new car sales during 2022 and a record market share of 5.0%. Its electrified models also increased by 22% to a 7.7% market share.
