Hyundai Motor UK has appointed AX Motor Assist as its new Accident Management partner and Avant to manage its Hyundai-approved Bodyshop Programme. Launching in December 2026, the two programmes will give Hyundai customers across the UK a single route to accident support, vehicle recovery, replacement mobility and manufacturer-approved repairs, regardless of their insurer.
Together, the partnerships create a single, Hyundai-branded journey from the moment an accident is reported through to the car being returned to its owner. Customers will be able to contact Hyundai for support whoever their insurer is, giving them a clear route to help.
One dedicated team will coordinate the claim, recovery, repair and any replacement vehicle. Trained advisers will guide owners through the next steps, with proactive updates at each key stage of the repair rather than customers having to chase for information. Replacement vehicles and mobility solutions will be considered early in the process, matched as closely as possible to each customer’s needs.
Our customers rightly expect a simple, reassuring and high-quality experience when the unexpected happens. These new partnerships with AX Motor Assist and Avant represent a significant step forward in how we support Hyundai owners following an accident. By bringing together specialist accident management expertise and a strengthened manufacturer-approved repair programme, we are creating a more seamless journey that keeps drivers informed, gets vehicles repaired correctly and helps customers get back on the road as quickly as possible.
Avant brings more than two decades of experience in developing and managing manufacturer body and paint programmes. Under the new arrangement, Hyundai vehicles will be directed to approved repairers familiar with Hyundai’s standards, processes and technical requirements, using genuine Hyundai parts and approved repair methods. This helps protect each car’s structural performance and advanced driver assistance systems, giving owners confidence that their vehicle has been repaired correctly first time.
We are delighted to partner with Hyundai Motor UK and support its customers with a market-leading accident management solution. Our focus is on delivering a fast, transparent and customer-centric experience, supported by innovative technology, expert claims handling and a commitment to keeping customers mobile throughout their repair journey.
We are proud to be appointed as Hyundai’s bodyshop programme partner. Throughout the process we saw a brand at an exciting point in its development, with a genuine commitment to investing in and supporting its repair network – an ambition that aligns closely with our own. Working with Hyundai, we look forward to delivering a high-performing, manufacturer-approved network that supports Hyundai’s ambitions, repair quality and customer satisfaction.
The programmes form part of Hyundai Motor UK’s wider aftersales strategy to enhance the customer experience and support its retailer network, keeping owners connected to Hyundai from purchase through to servicing, maintenance and repair.
