Hyundai Connected Mobility introduces a new Online Map Download feature, rolling out to all ccNC (connected car Navigation Cockpit) equipped Hyundai models.

The new update system provides significantly faster availability of navigational data, including new roads, changed routing and updated local speed limits. With monthly map update cycles and automatic Over-the Air (OTA) delivery, the vehicle’s navigation always stays up to date – without any action from the driver.

Hyundai Offers More Convenience With New Smart Update System

Previously, navigation systems and maps were updated at longer intervals as part of larger software packages. Online Map Downloads introduce a smarter approach: while driving, the vehicle updates only the relevant map sections quietly in the background. The updated data becomes available immediately after the next ignition cycle.

This way, Hyundai ensures that customers continuously benefit from significantly more up to date map information, enabling more accurate navigation, increased safety and an overall smarter driving experience.

With our Online Map Downloads, Hyundai Connected Mobility underscores the values that drive us. We aim to deliver smart solutions that are designed to integrate seamlessly into people’s lives. Delivering smaller map updates based on the places people are navigating more frequently makes our services more up to date and much easier while cutting down on update sizes and eliminating unnecessary downtime.

With Online Map Downloads, Hyundai’s Connected Mobility underlines the company’s commitment to delivering digital services that seamlessly integrate into everyday life – intelligent, convenient and user-centric.

Online Map Downloads will begin rolling out in March via Over-the-Air updates. Both OTA functionality and Online Map Downloads require an active Bluelink PRO subscription.
