- Are We There Yet? will return in mid-October for a second season
- Season two will be broader and highlight even more of Hyundai Motor’s partners and collaborators
- Guests of the first episode will be representatives from Divers Alert Network Europe, Alana Alvarez and Manuel Bustelo
Returning to host the next season is British motorsport presenter and former Gadget Show host Suzi Perry. In season one, Perry invited some of the top minds leading Hyundai to learn about the ground-breaking concepts revolutionising the future of mobility.
However, from the first to second season, the focus will widen to include even more external guests. Perry will explore the world of Hyundai through the eyes of internal players as well as its broad network of partners.
During season one of Are We There Yet?, I learned so much about Hyundai as a brand and the exciting vision it has for the future of mobility. I really look forward to coming back to host season two. It’s going to be fascinating to learn how Hyundai works with its partners to share their ideals with the world. But if you want to learn more, you’ll have to listen in!
“The 25,000-km electric journey for a sustainable future”
Perry kicks off the first episode of season two with Alana Alvarez and Manuel Bustelo, ambassadors of Divers Alert Network Europe (DAN Europe). Founded in 1983, DAN Europe is an international medical and research non-profit organisation dedicated to the health and safety of divers.
In the season two premiere, Alvarez and Bustelo talk about the progress they have made in the DAN Europe Sustainable Tour 2021. In addition to advocating for more sustainable business practices to stakeholders across Europe, the scuba diving experts have already met with several industry experts, including Michael Cole, President & CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe, as well as Bertrand Piccard, Swiss explorer, environmentalist, and Hyundai brand ambassador.
We have three main goals: Promoting sustainable lifestyles and mobility to European citizens with a sensitive approach to the diving industry and younger generations. Promoting businesses already working on sustainable products or services. And visiting public and private organisations leading a robust, sustainable movement and policymaking to better protect our oceans.
For the Sustainable Tour, Hyundai supplied Alvarez and Bustelo with a KONA Electric. The two DAN ambassadors said they were impressed by the EV’s range. So far, they have covered 16,000 kilometres of the 25,000-kilometre journey. The fully electric SUV allows them to travel efficiently and sustainably.
Our aim with Are We There Yet? is to give our audience an inside look at the people owning and working in the different areas at Hyundai. Our podcast gives the great minds behind Hyundai, as well as our partners and friends, a stage to reach a wider audience. With season two, we want to broaden the scope even more and bring our partners and friends into the mix. They will be able to share with our listeners how they are championing Hyundai’s vision.

The idea behind season one of Are We There Yet? was to shine a spotlight on some of the main people behind the Hyundai brand. The season covered topics such as sustainable design, hydrogen fuel cell technology, and electromobility, among others.
The second season of Are We There Yet? will be live and available to listeners on Spotify, Apple, Google, Podcasts, Stitcher, Acast and other podcast streaming platforms. It will be produced by Fresh Air Production.
