Three of Hyundai’s cutting-edge line-up have been recognised in the 2025 Business Motoring Awards, a celebration of the finest vehicles and services in the fleet sector for SME operators, judged by a panel of independent experts from across the motor industry.

Leading the way was the All-new Hyundai SANTA FE, which was crowned Best Large SUV and Highly Commended in the overall Car of the Year category. It was joined by the Hyundai KONA, which was named Best Small EV SUV, and the Hyundai INSTER, Highly Commended in the Best Small EV class.

Business Motoring is one of the United Kingdom’s leading resources for fleets, providing news, insights and analysis for operators, company car drivers and industry professionals.

Success in the Best Large SUV category is the latest honour for the All-new SANTA FE, which has picked up an array of plaudits since launch, including SUV of the Year from TopGear.com, Seven-seater of the Year from WhatCar? and Best 7-Seater in the Autotrader Drivers’ Choice awards.

It makes a great choice for fleet users thanks to a 1.6-litre T-GDi Smartstream powertrain (available with two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive as a hybrid, and as a 4WD PHEV). A distinctive boxy silhouette and a roomy interior add to its appeal, with fully foldable second- and third-row seats providing class-leading interior space, while a suite of high-tech, practical features ensures the top-quality cabin is a comfortable environment for high-mileage fleet customers to spend time. Prices for the All-new SANTA FE start from £47,890.

The prize of Best Small EV SUV for the KONA follows its recognition as Best Compact SUV at both the 2024 Business Car Awards and the Fleet News Awards in March of this year, underscoring its continuing attraction to fleets. The KONA Electric model delivers an impressive range of up to 319 miles, helping to deliver the low running costs demanded by business customers, complemented by a comprehensive suite of safety features, intelligent connectivity and Vehicle-to-Load tech that makes it easy to charge a laptop on the move. It can be ordered from £32,400.

The all-electric INSTER, meanwhile, is Hyundai’s first small SUV for the European market, and has made an immediate impact, having been crowned 2025 World Electric Vehicle in the 2025 World Car Awards. It comes with either a 42kWh or 49kWh battery, and blends distinctive robust styling in a compact package with effortless urban driving and a potential range of 229 miles. It also features Vehicle-to-Load capability, with prices starting from £23,505.

Customers in the fleet market have very specific demands that are extremely well served by Hyundai’s exciting, diverse line-up, and this has been reflected by Business Motoring’s recognition of the All-new SANTA FE, KONA Electric and INSTER in its 2025 awards. Hyundai’s leadership in electrification makes our cars great choices for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint with no compromise, while their superb quality, our five-year, unlimited mileage warranty and an outstanding retail network offer genuine peace of mind.
