The Hyundai i800 and iLoad

- Hyundai has updated the i800 and iLoad multi-purpose vehicle range with new design and improved convenience features to enhance driving comfort for customers.

Refreshed exterior design

Hyundai has updated the i800 and iLoad multi-purpose vehicle range with new design and improved convenience features to enhance driving comfort for customers.

The front of the Hyundai i800 and iLoad have been refreshed, with a bold interpretation of the Cascading Grille – Hyundai’s design identity – flowing down from new, horizontally-oriented headlights.

Below the grille, a newly designed front bumper featuring repositioned fog lights adds to the fresh look for the people carrier and cargo van. iLoad models feature 16-inch steel wheels, while the i800 comes with 16-inch alloy wheels as standard.

Furthermore, the i800 and iLoad range offers a choice of four body colours depending on model: Creamy White, Hyper Silver, Ocean View and Timeless Black.

The revised styling, comprising a new bonnet, bumpers and front quarter panels, is complemented by a comprehensively updated cabin.

New interior and convenience features

Inside the new i800 and iLoad, the steering wheel is adjustable for both reach and rake for the first time, further improving comfort on the road. For models with navigation, there is also a new seven-inch 'floating' touchscreen infotainment system, positioned above the heating and ventilation control panel.

A heated driver’s seat is complemented by the addition of seat heating for the front passenger. Furthermore, the images captured by the rear-view camera can now be displayed in the central screen.

Powerful and flexible engines

The new Hyundai i800 and iLoad line-up is available with three different diesel powertrains. The people carrier is available with the 2.5 CRDi engine producing 170 PS/125 kW and delivering maximum torque of 441 Nm, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.

Alternatively, a six-speed manual transmission is available with a 2.5 CRDi engine in two states of tune. The standard version produces 116 PS/85 kW and the high-power version offers 136 PS/100 kW, with both engine generating 343 Nm of torque. All engines comply with the latest Euro 6c standards for WLTP measurements. The same powertrain line-up is available for the Euro 6-compliant cargo van.

Versatility and loading

Designed to carry up to eight people or carry large loads, the Hyundai i800 and iLoad offer generous dimensions with a wide door opening for easy storage of goods or access for rear passengers.

The capacity of the iLoad cargo van versions ranges from 2,511 litres (for twin-cabin iLoad Crew models) up to 4,426 litres with a choice of two or three seats at the front.

For the i800, even with all eight passenger seats in use, the people carrier still provides 842 litres of capacity. In this respect, the i800 and iLoad range appeals to both small and large businesses as well as private customers who are looking for plenty of space and convenience features to drive in comfort.
