The exterior design of the all-new Hyundai Santa Fe is characterised by a powerful, wide stance and an impressive presence, reinforcing the car’s status at the top of Hyundai’s SUV line-up – a bold and premium design made in Europe and celebrated worldwide.

Exterior design

The Santa Fe’s front adopts the Hyundai’s new SUV family face, providing the car with a strong and robust character. The front of the car introduces the Cascading Grille that is complemented by the Composite Light – a design comprising slim LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) positioned on top of the LED headlights. The newly-designed trim connecting the DRL with the front grille emphasises the car’s width and powerful stance. The A-pillar is further back than in previous models, creating a longer bonnet and a bolder profile.

To create the car’s confident, muscular side profile, the Santa Fe features darker trim surrounding the wheel arches. The slimmer synthetic surroundings and sculpted door panels give the Santa Fe a high-quality look. The dynamic character of the car’s side profile is further enhanced by a sleek elongated roof line creating the impression of length and stability. The full-length character line running from the headlights to the tail lights forms a fluid design adding solidity and elegance.

The rear forms a confident stance with a striking bumper design and unique tail light design. To simplify the rear of the car, the upper rear lamp is a sleek LED design, and the indicator, reversing and fog lights are all integrated into the rear bumper. The character line that pronounces the rear wheel arch directly flows into the corner of the back light, giving the car a wider, more assertive stance. The chrome at the bottom of the doors continues to the rear bumper, emphasising the defined SUV profile of the Santa Fe.

Customers can choose from nine distinctive exterior colours to personalise their car. There are pearl finishes in Phantom Black, White Cream, Lava Orange, Horizon Red and Stormy Sea; or metallic finishes in Typhoon Silver, Magnetic Force, Earthy Bronze and Rain Forest. Horizon Red is a no-cost option, while all other finishes are a £690 option.

The exterior dimensions make the all-new Santa Fe appear strong and assertive. With a length of 4,770mm, a width of 1,890 mm and a long wheelbase of 2,765 mm, the Santa Fe has a solid stance on the road and provides more comfort to its occupants.

Interior design

The Santa Fe has a refined and ergonomic interior. The technology features blend seamlessly with the warm colours and naturally-inspired patterns to provide a pleasant balance between comfort and convenience. The result is a premium feel that maximises both functionality and aesthetics. The slim upper dashboard protrudes from the flush and tactile middle dashboard, which is accented with decorative stitching. The lower section houses an opening which provides additional storage space.

The interior enhances the premium design theme of the Santa Fe, and customers can choose from three different cabin colour schemes. The elegant one-tone Black is. In contrast, the two-tone Grey is teamed with a stone appearance. The three colour options are all available in textile or leather. A Burgundy interior colour is also available, complemented by synthetic wood accents, and paired with leather and a black suede headlining.

The embossed texture on the door speakers and the seat embroidery give the interior of the Santa Fe a stimulating and tactile feel, and provides a contrast to the premium handcrafted quilting on the car’s seats.

The floating touchscreen is high on the dashboard for increased visibility. The visibility to the rear is also improved by the large rear quarter glass and more open second- and third-row seating.

Drivers and front passengers will enjoy the support of the electric extendable seat cushions offering ten different positions. The all-new Santa Fe also increases comfort for passengers in the second and third row seating. In the second row, legroom is increased by 38 mm and the seat is 18 mm higher. The third row of seating is accessible with the touch of a button, and boasts a 22 mm increase in headroom.

Luggage capacity is increased by 40 litres to 547 litres (VDA), offering increased flexibility for everyday needs.
