- This year has been the most successful for Hyundai Motor in Europe to date, with sales totalling 386,480 cars, according the latest registration data from Europe’s auto industry body, ACEA.
The company’s strong sales performance with a plus of 8.8% in the first nine months of 2016 has surpassed market average growth of 7.7%, highlighting the fact that customers increasingly choose Hyundai vehicles. Sales from July to September 2016 totalled 124,813 registrations – the best third quarter result in Hyundai Motor’s history in Europe.
In September alone, Hyundai Motor sales rose by 3.9% equalling 51,490 registrations, compared to September 2015. Sales in Italy (+24.1%), France (+17.1%), the UK (+9.9%) and Spain (+20.8%) have been particularly strong in September compared to the same month of the previous year, driving Hyundai Motor’s overall performance in Europe. In each of these markets Hyundai car sales outpaced national market growth.

80% of Hyundai models have been renewed in 2015 alone.
