Paris Motor Show 2018: inside Hyundai Motorstudio Paris

Mondial de l’Automobile Paris 2018, or the 2018 Paris Motor Show, is held at Paris expo Porte de Versailles. This year Hyundai is premiering its high-performance model the All-New i30 Fastback N.
The Paris Motor Show is one of the major highlights in the automotive industry calendar. Taking place biennially, the event attracted 1,066,000 visitors in 2016, making it the most-visited auto show in the world. This year’s edition lasts from 4 to 14 October.
New car ranges and the latest automotive technology are being presented from 198 exhibitors at Paris Motor Show 2018. We’ve taken a look behind the scenes to discover what Hyundai Motor is displaying this year.

Hyundai Motor Studio Paris

Throughout the event, Hyundai is showcasing its range of models in the ‘Hyundai Motorstudio Paris’ booth. Hyundai Motorstudio Paris is comprised of three distinctive zones: Future Mobility, High Performance and Design.
The following video features highlights from Hyundai Motorstudio Paris, and features interview snippets from three key Hyundai figures.

Future Mobility

The Future Mobility zone highlights Hyundai’s pioneering spirit in the field of future mobility. In this area, some of the brand’s eco-friendly models, including the All-New NEXO, the All-New Kona Electric and the IONIQ Electric are on display.
Visitors to this zone can learn more about the IONIQ with the IONIQ Digital Wall and discover insights about the All-New NEXO thanks to the NEXO Touch Table.

High Performance

The star attraction of the High Performance zone is undoubtedly the All-New i30 Fastback N, which received its world premiere at this year’s Paris Motor Show. The company’s second high-performance model in Europe; it combines a sophisticated and elegant design with the proven N fun-to-drive factor, and is the first five-door coupe in the C-segment.
Hyundai Motorsport pair Thierry Neuville and Gabriele Tarquini recently tested the All-New i30 Fastback N to the limit in a world record-breaking race between the Danish villages of Rome to Paris. The drivers demonstrated the pure power of the high-performance coupe, and you can see how they got on in the following video clip.
Another highlight – and another world premiere – at the High Performance zone is the new i30 N ‘N Option’ show car, which presents a new upcoming sporty appearance and a vision of possible performance-enhancing individualisation options for Hyundai owners in the future.
Visitors to the High Performance zone can also get up close and personal with the current FIA World Rally Championship-leading i20 WRC and the i30 TCR, while enjoying some interactive features like the WRC 7 Game Station.

Design

The Design zone hosts Hyundai's Le Fil Rouge concept car, which was first shown at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
Le Fil Rouge features a new approach called ‘Light Architecture’, and this is seen in its single, high beltline crease that flows from its front grille and headlights, over the wheel arches to the tail lights, then seamlessly through front and rear pillars and roof as if it were drawn with a single line.

Other highlights from Hyundai Motorstudio Paris

Meanwhile, visitors can learn more about Hyundai's sponsorships of some of the world’s biggest football teams and the recent 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ at the Hyundai x Football stand. This will provide insights to the brand’s partnerships with Club Atletico de Madrid, Chelsea, AS Roma, Hertha Berlin BSC and Olympique Lyonnais.
