Why does the All-New IONIQ challenge the opinions of Oscar Wilde, Steve Jobs and other famous people?
Because the IONIQ is not only the world’s first car with three electrified powertrains but it also has unique features and technologies people wouldn’t expect from an electrified vehicle. The IONIQ Hybrid and the IONIQ Electric are now being launched at car dealers all over Europe. The IONIQ Plug-in will be launched next year.
Oscar Wilde once said: “It’s better to be beautiful than to be good.” With the All-New IONIQ it’s not ‘either/or’ any more – thanks to the attractive coupé-like silhouette and the choice of three electrified powertrains, both these attributes now apply. Likewise, other features of the IONIQ provide answers to preconceptions people might have had about e-mobility.

The centre of brand storytelling and customer communication – the IONIQ Digital Hub

At the heart of Hyundai Motor’s campaign for the IONIQ is a fully integrated platform, the IONIQ Digital Hub. The hub serves as the centre of brand storytelling and customer communication and brings together all relevant content about the vehicle, providing explanations and insights to interested people.
For the first time, Hyundai Motor is launching a new model across Europe primarily via digital channels and video content,” says Jochen Sengpiehl, Vice President Marketing at Hyundai Motor Europe. The launch of the IONIQ is a paradigm shift for the industry. Never before has a carmaker focused so intensively on the effect of digital media. Our new animated video showcases some of IONIQ’s key benefits for customers in an entertaining way.

The IONIQ Digital Hub is optimised for different devices – smartphone, tablet and PC – and is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian and Norwegian at www.hyundai-ioniq.com
