Hyundai has revealed more details of the new i30 N Line in an exclusive new walk-around video with Product Marketing Specialist, Richard Haleš.

The i30 hatchback, Fastback and Wagon have all undergone a comprehensive product update. Available in Europe starting this summer, the new i30 features design updates, upgraded safety and connectivity, and new powertrain options. The N Line trim, inspired by the i30 N, will also be available on the i30 Wagon for the first time.

The new i30 features new front and rear bumpers, a newly-designed front grille, and new LED headlights with V-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs). In addition, it is available with 16- or 17-inch alloy wheels. The motorsport-inspired N Line trim, previously only available on the hatchback and fastback body types, is now also available for the i30 Wagon.

The new i30 also features updated connectivity features for even more convenience. It has been equipped with a new 7-inch digital supervision cluster and a 10.25-inch digital touchscreen. Wireless phone mirroring and Bluelink connectivity features are also available for the first time.

The safety package of the new i30 has been updated to include new Hyundai SmartSense safety features, including Lane Following Assist (LFA), Rear Collision-avoidance Assist (RCA), and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA). In addition, Front Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) has been upgraded to include cyclist detection, in addition to pedestrian detection. For maximum assurance, the new i30 comes with a five-year unlimited warranty.

New drivetrain options have been made available for the new i30, bringing even more performance and efficiency. Leading the powertrain line-up is a new 1.5 T-GDi engine with 160 PS. For the first time, 48-volt mild hybrid technology is coming to the i30, and will be available on a wide range of both gasoline and diesel engines. And the new i30 also introduces Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT), which allows the car to enter coasting mode when the driver releases the accelerator, saving fuel.

Full technical specifications of the new i30 can be found here.
