Five things the i30 Wagon takes care of

Sometimes the vehicle we drive can put our mind at ease on all of these things, and this allows us to concentrate on the important things in life, like family time. Buying your first car is a rite of passage, whether it’s the student stretching for the least expensive model that’s had the most owners, or the new job starter blowing their money on the car of their dreams that’s wholly impractical.
When children come along, our priorities change but our love for driving remains. When our families expand, we adapt our cars to suit our needs. Trips together to exciting destinations become treasured memories and travelling there is part of the adventure. We all want a car that allows us to appreciate the journey, ride in comfort and arrive in one piece. The New Generation i30 was created by Hyundai Motor as the new people’s car, consisting of four body types, and the i30 Wagon is the most spacious model in the range. Developed in Europe and unveiled at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show, its designed to complement the lifestyle of its owners.
This family-friendly car combines sleek design, space, performance, cutting edge technology and state-of-the-art safety features. So, what are the things the i30 Wagon takes care of that allow drivers to concentrate on what they really care about themselves? Watch the latest video for the i30 Wagon and find out.

What are the things we care about when loading our kids into the car, putting the keys in the ignition and hitting the road? Is it the journey, the destination, comfort, or arriving safely?

Trips and holidays

What makes the i30 Wagon the ideal car to pack up the family and head away? The BBC's Top Gear said it one of Hyundai’s most compelling offerings and combines practicality with style. The road trip down the motorway or round country bends is made comfortable by driving performance described as “as effortless and easy-going as you could wish a small estate to be”. The i30 Wagon is backed up with a 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty for further peace of mind. Designed and produced in Europe for European drivers, Hyundai’s engineers rigorously tested the Wagon’s driving dynamics on the world-famous Nürburgring. It is a car built for the continent’s huge variety of landscapes and terrain, from mountain passes to coastal routes.

Space

A car full of passengers means a car full of stuff, especially when those passengers are the smaller members of the family, whether with two legs or four. While it boasts a sleek and dynamic profile, the i30 Wagon has one of the biggest boots in its segment. It offers 602 litres of space expanding to 1,650 litres when the rear seats are folded. The car also has several compartments housed in its boot floor.

Smart technology

Today’s cars reflect the technology of the world around them. Mobile-smart devices and the ability to connect them are now seen as a necessity rather than a luxury add-on. The i30 Wagon offers a free-floating screen for its infotainment system. We take it for granted now, but having directions relayed from a touchscreen takes one more stress out of driving. The i30 Wagon’s eight-inch touchscreen of the navigation system also incorporates LIVE Services to access maps, real time traffic updates and points of interest.

Phone charging

Today’s car owners want to remain linked to their own digital environment even while driving. Cutting edge technology allows them to do this. A QI standard wireless charging system for smartphones is available for the i30 Wagon doing away with the need for cables in the car’s cockpit while it also includes connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto to sync smartphones to the onboard computer. Hyundai’s family car also has the option of Bluetooth connectivity and My Music functionality.

Safety

Staying safe on the road is what all drivers care about most. Automatic safety systems and alerts mean our cars keep us secure while driving like never before. These modern technologies can even compensate for human error, one of the biggest reasons for collisions and accidents.
Drivers care about safety and the latest safety technology actively takes care of drivers. The New Generation i30 Wagon is equipped with Hyundai SmartSense, as well as active safety and driving assistance technology including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, High Beam Assist and Lane Keeping Assist. The Driver Attention Warning system can monitor driving patterns in order to detect reckless or fatigued driving and prevent potential accidents.
