Autotalks provides the only global V2X communication processor for a better, increasingly connected and safer world.
Providing alerts on what lies around the corner for today’s manned vehicles and acting as a non-light-of-sight sensor for tomorrow’s autonomous vehicles. Even when autonomous vehicles are able to detect other objects with perfect precision, they still have trouble predicting what other road users will do. One way for autonomous vehicles to avoid collisions is to communicate directly with the objects to find out what they will do.
Autotalks is developing a state-of-the-art V2X communication processor which helps vehicles avoid accidents by knowing the location and expected path of all road users. Autotalks’ V2X communication processor will be able to facilitate the following V2X interactions:
- V2V – vehicle to vehicle
- V2D – vehicle to device
- V2N – vehicle to network
- V2M – vehicle to motorcycle
- V2P – vehicle to pedestrian
- V2I – vehicle to infrastructure
This technology will be able to facilitate better coordination and cooperation with other vehicles; complements other sensors; identify vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and bicycles; and detect traffic light status via infrastructure communication. It is the only integrated dual mode V2X connectivity processor with embedded security to respond to changing market regulation requirements.
Selected by leading automakers as their V2X chipset. Multiple development board integrations between Mobis CCU and Autotalks chipset.
